1How far can I ride on a full charge?
In pure electric / throttle mode, you can expect about 25‑30 miles (40‑48 km). With pedal assist (PAS), the range can reach up to 60 miles (approx. 96 km). Actual range varies depending on rider weight, speed, terrain, temperature, tire pressure, and riding mode.
2My daily round‑trip commute is 25 miles. If I ride at top speed with pedal assist the whole way, will the battery make it?
We recommend using pedal assist at a steady speed and avoiding full throttle the entire time. Riding at top speed consumes significantly more battery, so it may not guarantee a 25‑mile range. If you use PAS at moderate speeds, you can usually complete the round trip.
3Does pedaling recharge the battery?
No. This e‑bike does not support regenerative charging while riding. You must plug in the included charger to recharge the battery.
4Can I purchase an extra battery?
Yes, you can. Please contact our support team for pricing and availability. Since the battery may not ship from our U.S. warehouse, we’ll need to provide a quote based on your location.
5What are the differences between Standard, Pro, and Pro Max?
The Su8 Standard version comes with a 48V 16Ah battery and a 85N.m peak 1500W motor — enough for everyday basic use. The Su8 Pro upgrades the battery to 20Ah for customers who want extra range. The Su8 Pro Max takes it up a notch, featuring a stronger 100 N·m peak 2000W motor, a top speed of 35 mph, along with an upgraded battery, better shock absorption, a front‑fork suspension, angel‑eye headlights, rear footrests, and a storage bag and bike lock. . It’s a comprehensive upgrade for riders who care about ride quality and overall experience.
⚡Speed & Performance
6Is the official top speed of 32 MPH achieved with pedal assist or throttle mode?
32 MPH is the maximum speed achievable under ideal conditions (flat terrain, proper tire pressure, etc.). Both throttle and pedal assist modes can reach this speed. Actual speed varies depending on rider weight, battery level, terrain, and mode.
7Can I modify the motor, controller, or battery to increase speed? What about cosmetic modifications like accessories or paint?
We strongly advise against modifying the electrical system. Any unauthorized modifications can damage the bike, reduce reliability, and will void your 1‑year warranty. Please do not attempt them.
However, cosmetic upgrades — like accessories or custom paint — are welcome! We’ve seen many creative examples at our U.S. rider meetups and we love them. Feel free to share your custom builds in the comments!
8Can I control or adjust the bike with a mobile app?
No. All controls are handled through the display, throttle, pedal assist system, and handlebar buttons.

9What is the warranty policy?
We offer a 1‑year warranty. If you encounter any product quality issues, please contact us with your order number, photos, and videos. Our support team will assist you based on the situation.
10The power button / display is broken — how can I order a replacement?
Please send us your order number, photos, and videos of the issue. If it's covered under warranty, we'll replace it at no charge.
11I bought it a few weeks ago for over $600, but now it's on sale for $500+. Can I get a price adjustment?
Prices fluctuate due to promotions, coupons, platform subsidies, and inventory changes. The final price is the one shown at checkout when you place your order. We do not offer retroactive price adjustments.

16Does this bike have suspension? Where is it located?
The bike comes with front fork suspension and a rear frame shock absorber rated at 1000 lbs. They effectively absorb bumps on gravel, light trails, and rough roads for a more comfortable ride. The Pro Max version steps it up with an upgraded 800‑lb rear shock for an even smoother experience.
