WisconsinElectric bicycle classes, age, and local restrictions
Wisconsin defines three e-bike classes up to 750 watts and applies bicycle rights and duties. E-bikes are exempt from driver licensing, registration, title, and financial-responsibility requirements. Class 3 operators must be at least 16. State, local, and DNR authorities may restrict e-bike use. No statewide e-bike-specific helmet rule was verified.

Fox CrossingE-bike sidewalk, trail, right-of-way, and age rules
E-bikes are prohibited on Village sidewalks, parking ramps, and posted restricted property and are allowed only on designated bicycle ways, trails, or paths. Reckless operation is barred; the code sets roadway-age rules, including an age-8 minimum with an accompanied 6–7-year-old exception, and requires helmets under age 16. Ordinance 260504-2 was added May 18, 2026; a separate effective date was not displayed.
