Electric bicycle classes and path access

Nevada defines three e-bike classes up to 750 watts and allows them where bicycles may travel, including roads, lanes, and shared-use paths. Path managers may restrict access after the required process; natural-surface nonmotorized trails are locally regulable. No statewide e-bike-specific age or helmet rule was verified.

Clark County

Unincorporated County e-bike and resort-corridor rules

In unincorporated Clark County, the ordinance regulates e-bikes on public roads, sidewalks, paths, and County property; generally sets a 15-mph limit and restricts e-bikes in specified resort-corridor areas. Incorporated cities set their own rules. The County says Ordinance 5241 took effect May 21, 2025.

City street, sidewalk, and designated-path e-bike rules

E-bikes may use public roads, sidewalks, and designated paths unless posted otherwise. Reckless operation is prohibited; riders must yield and give an audible signal, and minors must wear helmets. The City says the ordinance was adopted August 6, 2025; the exact effective date was not located.
