Arizona recognizes three classes of e-bike under 750 watts and generally gives them bicycle rights and duties. Class 1 and 2 may use bicycle paths unless the local authority or agency prohibits them; Class 3 path access is limited to paths adjacent to a roadway or those locally allowed. The cited e-bike provisions do not establish a special statewide age or helmet rule.

Glendale

E-bike access and speed rules in City parks

In City parks, e-bike riding is allowed only on public roadways or in designated areas. Riders must yield to pedestrians and equestrians; the speed limit is 15 mph or a lower posted limit. The current Code was amended January 23, 2024; the exact effective date was not established.
